Virtual Cooking Lessons are here to Stay!

Become a better cook by avoiding these 12 common mistakes

We know that 2020 has been a roller-coaster of a year with no one unaffected by the unprecedented changes that have happened to our everyday lives. It has been a tough year and part of the struggle has been adapting which is something we have had to do at Chef’s Compliments. With all the hardship though, there has also been the inception of new ideas as we navigate this new world we live in and like many others, individuals and businesses, we have had to innovate to keep going this year.

2020 is a year for some reasons we will be rushing to forget but it is also a year where we introduced new services which we could deliver remotely to keep up the morale of our clients in these troubling times. For the first time we delivered remote dinner parties and we also did meal prep services but of course we cannot forget the star of our new services which is of course our virtual cooking lessons!

Delivering our lessons virtually has meant we can teach and share our culinary knowledge with more people than ever before including crossing borders! Our virtual lessons allow for an unlimited number of attendees and you can join in from anywhere in the world!

We are very pleased to say that our virtual lessons are here to stay for 2021 and if you have not yet had the pleasure of enjoying one read on to find out what you’re missing out on!

As we mentioned, our lessons allow for as many people to join and this can go beyond the borders of the UK, this is because we deliver the lessons live through a video link. To get you prepared for your virtual lesson, beforehand we will go through a consultation with you. You can learn whatever you’d like to at one of our lessons but if you’re stuck for ideas don’t worry, our chef has plenty of suggestions up their sleeve to help you decide what you’d like to make.

Our virtual lessons have been enjoyed by everyone, from friend’s who need a fun way to catch up given the COVID restrictions to work teams who have used the lessons to stay connected. Deciding with your friends or work colleagues what you will learn during the lesson is always a fun way to build up excitement for the big day!

Once you have confirmed what you’d like to learn, we will create personalised recipe cards and a shopping list and send these by email for you and the other participants. Then all you will need to do is get all ingredients needed for the day of the lesson. On the day of the lesson we will be connected on a video call to go through the lesson.

The lesson is a great way to distract you and your loved ones or your work colleagues from all the craziness going on in the world and make some good memories so if you haven’t already, make sure you book your virtual lesson with us in 2021!

Contact us today to see how.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us through 2020 and we want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
