We know that January can be a difficult month with the fun of Christmas and New Year celebrations over many get the blues. With the ongoing restrictions, this start to the year is likely to be even tougher than usual at a time when morale in the work place can be quite low anyway.

Our virtual cooking lessons is a great remedy for the New Year slump, with the holiday season over, giving your co-workers something to look forward to is a great way to lift the mood amongst your staff. Keeping in touch with colleagues is important to maintain good relationships and therefore productivity and when we say stay in touch, we mean more than a zoom meeting, a virtual cooking lesson provides you and your colleagues a shared experience which you can talk about for the weeks to come!

Our virtual lessons create excitement amongst the team even before it gets going! You will need to decide what you’d like to learn and this is something everyone can be involved in, you could even do a poll or have a competition where the winner decides what you will learn. We are also adding some more amazing dishes to our virtual cooking lesson menu for 2021 if you wanted to choose from here instead.

As we mentioned, it is vital to stay connected with work colleagues not just through work meetings but through fun events such as the lesson which can help you connect on a more personal level. The lesson can give a bit of relief from some of the stresses from work which is much needed. The virtual cooking lesson can be a fun activity to do after a team meeting to give you and your colleagues a good work balance.

As well as being a great way to ensure morale amongst your staff in the New Year by keeping them connected in a fun way which ensures they have a balanced work life, our virtual lessons are also fantastic for the following reasons;

  • No matter how big or small your company is, you don’t have to worry about anyone missing out or whether your team size will be catered to, an unlimited number of participants can join our lessons. The beauty of delivering a virtual lesson is that we can now reach more people than ever before!
  • If your company is international and organising a social event has been a challenge because of this in the past don’t worry, this is no longer an issue! For those of your colleagues who are not based in the UK, they don’t have to worry about taking a flight as people can join virtually from anywhere in the world for one of our lessons.
  • The lessons are a great team building activity. We have already mentioned how our lessons are great for staying connected and injecting some fun into your staff’s work lives and this overall boosts morale and their ability to work better as a team as they can create more personal connections other than work. The lesson’s impact goes beyond the actual day as you can create a buzz amongst staff in the build-up and it will be a talking point long after it’s finished. In terms of team building, it’s also a great way to incorporate new members into your team who will be missing out on that face to face interaction.
