The clocks have changed, British summertime has begun, we have brighter weather to look forward to and Easter is almost upon us giving us the perfect reason to celebrate.
In the UK Easter brings with it a long bank holiday weekend so whether you celebrate or not it’s a great time to get together with loved ones. If you’re stuck for ideas on how to celebrate this year, don’t worry, Chef’s Compliments have plenty of suggestions up our sleeves.
Mark the occasion in work
Now is a great time to treat your work team and thank them for their hard work in the first month’s of the year which can often be the hardest. We know that getting the team together can be a challenge as a lot of us have moved to remote or hybrid working but this is where we can step in to ensure you can still boost team morale and team building with our chefs services.
Lockdown was a challenge for us all but through the challenges we were also able to develop positives too. You may have found this in your workplace, being able to offer remote working may have been a great fit for some of your colleagues and you’re also able to recruit talent from further afield. At Chef’s Compliments we had to adapt our face to face services to remote and in the process we now have a product which is much loved by our clients, our virtual cooking lessons.
At our virtual cooking lessons, a chef will teach you how to cook certain dishes through a video link. What you learn is completely up to you, all our services are bespoke so we will consult with you prior to the lesson to develop your ideal cooking lesson. We will also send you an ingredients list and cooking instructions prior so you can have everything ready on the day. Two great things about these lessons are, one there’s no limit on how many people can join and two as long as you have internet connection, you can join from any location! Our lessons have become a firm favourite with workplaces and have helped ensure colleagues stay connected with the challenges of remote and hybrid working.
Celebrate with family
Our cooking lessons could also be a great way for you to connect with family this Easter. For those of you who have family close by why not invite them around to learn a few dishes with you? Our face to face lessons differ slightly from our virtual lessons. As with all our services, we will go through the same consultation to create your bespoke event but on the day the chef will bring ingredients and their expertise to your kitchen to teach you the dishes! The same service is of course available virtually for those who want to connect and celebrate with loved ones who aren’t so close by.
The most traditional way to celebrate Easter is of course with a sit down meal and dinner parties are another service we offer. You guessed it, prior to the party we will consult with you to create your desired menu. As with all of our events, we can cater to any dietary requirements so please let us know what and we will adapt your menu to meet these. Once your menu is decided you can put your feet up! Our chef will do any prep necessary and then bring everything needed on the day to prepare your dream Easter meal for you and your loved ones.
