A Mouth-Watering Chocolate Event

chocolate truffles

What better way to spend an afternoon in late September than eating chocolate prepared by a professional chocolatier on an XTONE kitchen? Renowned for being scratch and heat resistant and durable, this granite work surface served perfectly for luxurious chocolate truffles to be created and for the chocolatier to perform the art of making delicious chocolate.

Christopher Peacock handcrafted cabinetry and kitchen was the perfect setting for the truffles to be made, showcasing XTONE work surfaces in a sophisticated light. Whilst sipping on wine and champagne, guests were able to try the freshly made chocolate truffles and see the new range in action.

Every kitchen designed by Christopher Peacock is done with precision, accuracy and with years of expertise. The cabinetry is always made to the highest quality, with the finest materials and every customer receiving an unrivalled customer service. At Chef’s Compliments we are proud to have worked with the high-end company to demonstrate their beautiful work surfaces and cabinetry.

Irresistible chocolate truffles are loved by everyone, and we all owe thanks to French innovators who created the well-known truffle that first originated as a ball of ganache. It’s been said that the chocolate truffle was first made by Auguste Escoffier in the 1920’s. The concept developed and various textures and flavours were then created to bring variety to chocolate truffles as we know them today.

The chocolatier created a range of mouth-watering chocolate truffles, from rare velvet truffles, dark chocolate and white chocolate and truffles. The Baci Di Dama chocolates were a particular favourite, as they delighted guests with their macaroon appearance. Their taste buds were able to experience the exquisite rich flavours of chocolate and wash it away with a glass of bubbly to celebrate the new and bespoke XTONE range. The inspiring collection by Christopher Peacock, allows homeowners to create a kitchen/living space that is modern, spacious and luxurious in their own property, where they can prepare a range of dishes, either on their own or with a help from a professional chef.

Otherwise known as ‘lady kisses’, Baci Di Dama are traditional Italian treats that are made with hazelnuts or almonds and chocolate. Despite their origin story not being completely clear, their name was created due to them resembling two mouths kissing or a woman’s pursed lips.

The delicious hand-made truffles and Baci Di Dama went down a treat, as did the new XTONE range, which went well hand in hand. At the event, guests were given the opportunity to view the worksurfaces in action, whilst it was showcased beautifully by the chocolatier.

At Chef’s Compliments, we offer a number of sweet treats too, in the form of dessert cooking lessons and our cocktail and canapes service, which includes a range of petite, melt in your mouth appetisers.
